2000 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

We have possibly a broken axle (which not known) on our 2000 Toyota Camry. What would a rough cost estimate to fix this be? a) If one axle has to be replaced b) if both axles have to be replaced?

will take approx. $50 to remove and replace one axle assembly, not including new axle itself
