I recently had the clutch replaced in my car after it went bad by a Toyota dealership. Four months later my clutch master cylinder failed and it is now back at the dealership. Since the incidents were so close together I suspected there was a problem with the installation of the new clutch but the dealership said there was no way they could have damaged or otherwise caused the master cylinder to fail. Not being a mechanic I have no way to know if I'm getting the truth so I would like a second opinion. Could they have damaged the clutch master cylinder when installing the new clutch? I'm fine with paying for the repair but it seems suspicious that another part of the clutch system would fail so close to the previous repair. Thanks for your help.
