My tail light fuse kept blowing out. I first noticed the tail light off, and replaced fuse and it was ok. but it blew out in a few days. So I changed another fuse, lasted a few weeks. I so far changed almost ten fuses, some last a few days, some last a month. Can any one give some clue what might be the cause of the fuse blowing out.

Thanks

Hi hidme,

Since problem happens intermittently, it most probably is due to a bare wire that shorts to ground due to bumps etc. Check for exposed wires that might be shorting intermittently.

When fuse does not blow, check brightness level of all illumination lights and if any seems different, check the bulbs.

Is there any light failure indication when fuse is working correctly?

No, there is not failure indication when fuse is working correctly or even it not working.
