Engine Performance problem
1998 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 125000 miles

Question: 1998 Toyota Camry, mileage: 125,000. I hope you can help! The car stalls sometime or dies when you start and put it in gear, or coming to or approaching a stop (like after freeway driving) or slowing down to turn a corner. While sitting at the light (hoping it won't die), it chugs and idles rough. It seems to happen at any time while I am braking and almost at a stop. And sometime when you are on the road it might just go on like you don’t have any problem. I took car to the dealer they checked and run the diagnose did not find any bad sensors . He said there is a oil leak and recommended to get following things done, head gas kit, valve cover gas kit, oil pan, transmission pan, timing belt water pump. But I have never seen any oil leak in my driveway. He thinks less oil in engine may have dammaged something in it. I had problem with this car longtime back when I had 38000 miles on the car that time I got EGR valve replaced and then never had problem any suggestion.
