I have a knocking sound in the rear left wheel well, especially when driving on dirt roads. I thought it was the bushings, but I replaced those and the noise is still there. I also rotated the tire positions to make sure that wasn't it. On bumpy roads it literally sounds like my wheel is going to fall off. What else could cause that sound?

Struts and or strut mounts, possibly broken coil spring at the top end (usually) of the strut.
