so im comming up this hill and i go to pass a car. my car was at 3000 rpm and when i accelerated and it jumped to 5000 thick grey smoke started pooring out the back. i stopped my car and the smoke stopped but when i got out i couldnt find out where the smoke was coming from. this happend a secound time abiout 4 days later in the same situation. a guy from pepboys says he thinks its an engine problem. the car had an oil change with inspection, and electronic diognastic done three weeks earlier and was fine.whats. do u know whats wrong with my car?

It depends on the color of the smoke-Grayish sounds like fuel system related problem. Get the fuel system checked out-
