Smells problem 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 270,00 miles

Can you tell me what is causing the fumes or gas smell inside me car? It does not happen all the time; but almost every other day. The fumes stay in my garage once I park until the next day. Typically, the majority of the time it smells in the afternoons. I can drive 20 plus miles to work in the morning and no smell, sometimes a little. Could it be coming from clogged injectors or catalyic coverter? I really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Leo

You have a fuel leak somewhere in the car like a fuel injector. Take a flash light and check the body of the injector they leak there.
