backup lights and cruise went out at the same time. The one part that they may have in common is the neutral saftey switch. Is there any other part that they have in common. Do you have any other sugestions?

back-up light switch is most likely at fault, it is on the transaxle.

if it's automatic than it uses the park/neutral position (PNP) switch which will also be on the transaxle. that is most likely fault since CC went out with them as well.
