This has been a great car. It owes me nothing. I drive 90 miles round trip every day to work. My check engine light came on and Auto Zone hooked it up to their computer and the o2 Sensor needs replacing. Where is the sensor in the car? Is it hard to get to. I want to have someone who has some mechanical knowledge replace it but not if its really difficult to replace.
My normal garage does a good job with it but I'm trying to fix this one myself.
It does need a new exhaust - I have owned the car since it had 50,000 miles on it and I've never replaced the exhaust.
Are they connected?
I was averaging 30 mpg but its dropped significantly. I have to get it fixed.

Hi , The o2 sensor is located :Under hood, center, front engine area, above exhaust pipe flange, mounted in exhaust manifold.IT;s pretty easy to do . You may need to get an o2 sensor socket .. it should cost around 10 dollars at the most .The o2 sensor for your vehicle here in Alabama is$ 114.99. This is what it looks like ..
