I just replace the ignition lock cylinder and when I put the new one in and attached the switch when I turn the key to the start position the car will get good power from the battery but will not turn over, it seems like it is the starter any suggestion.

Thank you

Hi taylortyler,

If there is a clicking noise from the starter while ignition is turned to crank, then most probably the starter is faulty.

If there is no clickiing noise, you need to test power output to starter from the ignition switch. It might be a starter relay or ignition switch problem .
