I don't know what happened to my Camry but i started driving one morning and it started putt putting. It felt like it was going to stall but it's an automatic. It sounded and felt like i need to push on the clutch but there is no clutch. It rev-ed up when i pushed the gas but didn't go anywhere. It had no power and it didn't change when i put it in neutral. I can't see putting money into towing it or taking it anywhere if i know it's the transmission. Can you give me an idea of what it might be?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs, also the exhaust for restriction and test the throttle position sensor and aiflow meter.
