Hi,

Recently, I had the car shaking voilently and then it overheated. The coolant getting emptied quickly with smoke from the back and milky oil.

Assumed blown head gasket and opened it up and took the head to machine shop for resurface and pressure tested.

Before I put it back, do I need to get anything else done (like valve job etc).

Also, not sure why the car was vibrating violently before the overheating happended.

Before I put the head back, want to make sure all is well.

thanks
Sam

the misfiring due to cracked head gasket and/or cracked head is what caused the shaking. everything else should be ok just replace head gasket and if necessary the head as well. replace oil and coolant.
