have 1997 camry 2.2 liter with coil pack, motor bad
I have 1994 2.2 liter motor with distributor zero miles. I've been told that I could use the 94
motor if I change the harmonic balancer and weld
a brace for the sensors is this true and if so what else do I need to do to make it work?

You will have no end to all the problems you will encounter, i would not even try to do this swap, better get the correct engine and do it properly, the computer and loom will be different, you will have to locate the CPS exactly and aligned exactly correctly, to many if and buts, go get the correct engine, even if you have to swap the good engine, at least it will work first time.
