My brake light came on, on my dash board a couple of weeks ago. It was happening intermittently, so I figured it may just be a fuse or short because there were no other discernable symptoms evident.

With recent warm weather, I was driving with the windows down and noticed a clicking sound eminating from what I believe to be the rear right brake. as I go faster, it becomes more rapid. Also, the brake light on the dash now stays on most on the time.

Any idea what the cause might be and will repairing it be expensive?

Hi there,

check that the brake fluid is not low, also have all the brakes inspected for condition, check that there is not something stuck in the tyre that is making the noise as well, some times a nail can click like that as the tyre rotates, start here.
