1996 Toyota Camry 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 326k miles

hey guys,
I've gotten good help from here before, and I hope to again. The car has started throwing this code, about 150 miles after going through pa state inspections. For inspection it did need a new o2 sensor, also on bank 1. I did just put a new cat on about 2 years ago (25k ago), but I think it was the in the front exhaust manifold, does the car have one for each bank of plugs? I guess i'm wondering if it could be that the new o2 is bad or if I need to put another cat on it? If so, is this a diy repair, or is there a lot of stuff that need removed from below? I do most of my own repairs, ( the few that this car needs) but I don't have a lift so need to know if this can be done on my back in the driveway. Thanks a lot for any advice, your site is awesome!

It may be either the cat or an O2 sensor. The O2 response can be monitored with a handheld computer if you can use one.

I have found aftermarket cats on this car is futile. OEM has been the best solution.

There are two front o2 sensors and one rear. Not abnormal to have more than one go bad close together.

There is only one cat. It can be done in the driveway, but I wouldn't want to.
