hello, I got a question about egr valve.I replaced the egr valve the electric switch but the engine light on and off, is their another egr valve my mechanic said if the light come on again he will replace the red egr valve, but says that the problem! I dont knw help please

I suggest first cleaning the EGR valve related passageways first. Carbon builds up in the passageways and can cause an EGR valve trouble code to appear.
