1995 Toyota Camry Knocking noise when step on gas

My Camry is making knocking noise whenever I accelerate. When I move my foot away from the gas pedal the noise reduces substantially. Could you suggest what may be the cause of this knocking.

If it's octane pinging, you may need a better grade of gas, if it's an actual rapping, you may need engine work, most knocks are a bad wrist pin or connecting rod bearing and crank journal.
