On my way home Friday my Camry made an odd noise and lost low end power. I noticed that it was overheating. This happened less than a minute from my house, so I brought it home. When I popped the hood, I found the coolant lines collapsed. When I checked the timing, I found that it was about 15 degrees retarded. I have recently replaced the timing belt and water pump. I know the timing was set to 5 degrees advanced. I am at a loss... what would make the lines collapse? and at the same time wreck the timing? Maybe my tensioner broke? Help!

the retarded timing could cause the vehicle to run hotter and cause the hoses to collapse from the high heat.
