1995 Toyota Camry 1995 Toyota Camry clunks

When I'm driving (forward only), my car makes a 'clunk' when I take off. It does it when I slow way down and accelerate again.

The CV joins were replaced on the car 2 years ago, and there was a clunk previous to their replacement, but this is different.

Any ideas?

Give the whole front end a check for loose and/or worn components.

Pay particular attention to:

balljoints
control arm bushings
mounts.
