1994 Toyota Camry Power Steering Issues

While driving to the store the power steering went out, was out all the way home, then was just fine when taking to a friend "mechanic" - before we replace the pump, could it be something else. There is no noise, the steering just came and went.

Hi Tuey,

The pump is the highest suspect. Internal wear of the pump causes pressure drop intermittently or the pressure valve gets stuck at times.
