I have already taken off the right front tire, caliper, rotor, axle nut to get to the axle hub. Now I am not sure if I need to remove an axle hub to get the studs out or I can just hit hard with a hammer on a stud while it is on the car for it to come out?

Thanks for you answer in advance

Just hit the stud hard until it drops out. Try rotating the hub to get the easiest location to remove the stud.

Sometimes it is necessary to grind a small amount off the head of the stud for install.
