In order to replace the outer cv boot on a 94 camry what do I need to do after the cv nut has been removed from the hub?

Be sure the car is supported on jack stands under the frame, not the lower control arm. You'll need to unbolt the lower ball joint and separate the stud from the spindle by prying down on the lower control arm with a long pry bar.

Push in on the outer cv joint to remove it from the spindle, then slide the inner joint out of the transmission. Pull on the joint housing, not the shaft so you don't pull it apart. It's spring-loaded too. Directions on how to remove the outer joint will come with the new boot kit. On some older cars, (Hondas in particular), the out joint can not be removed from the shaft. To replace the boot on those, you have to remove the inner boot and joint, then slide the new outer boot down the shaft to install it, then reinstall the inner joint and boot.
