I just had all the struts replaced. After alignment it pulled a little to the left. Aligned again. It seemed to be okay for a while and then pulled to the left again. Another alignment at a different garage. After a test drive the tech said I had a problem with my rack and pinion steering. The car drives straight, but after making a left turn it pulls to the left. Then, after making a right turn it drives straight again. Turn left - it pulls a little to the left. Then turn right - it drives straight. (I know: don't turn left!) Other people think my problem is a tie rod. What else could cause the problem?

Hi kmp3961,

The steering rack cushion/mounts are worn.

Replacing them should solve your problem.
