93 Toyota Camry with 215,000. Tranny worked fine. Car was a half-mile from home when the tranny just began totally slipping (no 'gripping' whatsoever). Engine revs without any engagement of the tranny. Both forward and reverse are affected. Tranny fluid is full and a bit dirty, but does not smell burnt. I had flushed the cooling system just the night before (only drove the half-mile since then)... just a coincidence or did something get wet? Or?

Hi there,

I would be getting the transmission inspected by a qualified transmission specialist, flushing the cooling system wont cause this and wet connections wont be your problem either.
