my car is eating my gas pretty fast?

my car is eating my gas pretty fast I filled my car up to 1/2 of tank next day down to empty. i just recently put new spark plugs and don't know what else to do or check.

Hi there,

the fuel and air filter can be changed, all engine adjustments are rather critical, so unless you are confident and know what to do, don't touch. get a mechanic to test for codes, ignition timing idle settings, O2 sensors will give poor economy if faulty, see if any codes are set.

Please go over this guide as well, it sounds like you may have a leaky fuel pressure regulator, I would remove the vacuum line to see if fuel is present meaning the part is bad.
