fuel pump doesn't seem to work. Where are fuses/relays located? Is it possible to hear fuel pump come on listening at tank while ignition is engaged? Are there any short-cuts or hints regarding replacing fuel pump? Thanks...

Find the check connector in the engine compartment and jumper the Batt to Fp terminal and see what happens.
