1993 Toyota Camry Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 143000 miles

today I drove my car and when I got back home and parked the car, I tried turning the car off and it wouldn't turn all the way. The radio was still on and the key seemed to be locked in the ignition. I had to disconnect the power in order to get the key to turn completely and come out. What could be the problem?

Have the ignition switch and the shift interlock system check.

This happens when the ignition lock and key get worn out, I would get a new key and tumbler and install it, here is how the job is done. It is pretty easy to do. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
