1992 Toyota Camry cost of repairing or replacing a/c unit

i think my a/c unit has a leak in it because it went out about a month after using it everyday. how much will it cost to repair it and if cant be repaired how much to replace it?

many components to the A/C system. if freon is leaking than it should, by law, only be repaired by a certified a/c tech.
