any tips on troubleshooting a non operational rear windo wiper would be appreciated.

Hi brian2889,

You need to test for power supply to the motor.

Most station wagons rear wipers don't work due to broken wires at the part connecting the body to the rear door, inside the rubber bellow. Opening and closing the door tends to break the wires over time.
