ENGINE MISSES/BUCKS WHEN RAINING I CHANGED THE DISTRIBUTER CAP AND PLUG WIRES STILL DOES IT. WHAT COULD THE NEXT MOST PROBABLE CAUSE? IT SEEMS TO RUN OK WHEN NOT RAINING BUT IT DOES SEEM TO HAVE A SMELL OF GASOLINE AFTER FILLING THE TANK AND IT HAS PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM THE SMELL GOES AWAY WHEN I OPEN THE FUEL CAP AND RELEASE THE PRESSURE COULD THIS BE RELATED TO THE RAIN PROBLEM?

Use a spray bottle to mist the ignition system. That will mimic driving in the rain.

Fill the spray bottle with water and a little dish soap, then spray the charcoal canister, vacuum hoses between it and the engine, and back to the fuel tank when the system builds pressure to see if there is a leak.
