Engine Performance problem
1989 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my 89 camry runs fine at idle no missing or anything purrs like a kitten but when i push on the accerlator it's sluggish will not accelerate revs up and down quickly and won't go above 30 mph i've replaced the fuel filter. it was running fine until i hit a puddle of water then it started doing this. any help would be appreciated
