It could be a problem in the computer itself. Has the dealer been able to retrieve any codes from the computer with the light on?
Just for the heck of it, take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer to see if they can provide a code for you. Most stores will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket for you. This way, I'll know what we are up against.
Honestly, a dirty fuel injector ( if the engine isn't missing) will not set the check engine light. Therefore, I question their means of repair at this point.
Let me know if the parts store can get any codes from the computer.
