Helllo I have a toyota camry 1989 it acts like it runs out of fuel engine light comes up on the dash (engine symbol CHECK) then engine stops running, their are two wires that run into a temperature sensor once you wriggle the wires and plug it starts up and runs again until only a kilometer or two then have to repeat and wriggle two wires and plug again till engine light comes off and goes again

Have the computer scanned for code/s -you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn On-This is your starting point of diagnosis finding out what's going on.
