1989 Toyota Camry rmp not picking up

can any body tell me why my 1989 Toyota Camry doesn't pick up any rpm when i have my foot all the way down on the gas paddle. i have recently change the oil and distributor cap and rotor button. if you have any advice i will be glade to hear from you.

Check the ignition timing could be off-Test the exhaust system for restriction and throttle position sensor closed and open voltages also the airflow meter-Also might want to test the fuel pressure.
