1989 Toyota Camry rmp not picking up

Can any body tell me why my 1989 Toyota Camry doesn't pick up any rpm when I have my foot all the way down on the gas paddle. I have recently change the oil and distributor cap and rotor button. If you have any advice I will be glade to hear from you.

Check the ignition timing could be off-Test the exhaust system for restriction and throttle position sensor closed and open voltages also the airflow meter-Also might want to test the fuel pressure.
