Stop light failure sensor

What and where it is located this sensor. Electric diagram only shows it is located between the stop light switch and the stop light lamps

HI there,

this is located in the boot on the left hand 1/4 panel, it will pick up that the resistance through the brake system is out of range and sets the warning light on the dash.

Thanks Mark,
Now I know where to look at.
There is one thing missing though, is this device like a capacitor, or a relay, a breaker, or what?

Is it in the relay section of the fuse panel? Attached to the wall?

I appreciate very much your input and your help, I was totally lost.

This is the first time I am baffled for something that no one knows about.

Hi there,

Here in Aus there a small box in the loom, now I do know that over there some of the electrics are a bid different, I recall someone saying that they were yellow there? Have a look.
