1985 Toyota Camry Shifting

Shifting cable broke and I have not been able to find another cable for the last 3 years. Is there another shifter and cable(s) I can use that will match up with slight modifications?

Hi there,

You may have to check the part No with Toyota, They should be able to say if another model cable is the same, but i would say that you will not be able to modify a cable, you would be better of having one made. Have you tried on line wreckers? There would be some here in Australia.
