250,000 hard to start, once started idle okay, can't give it gas or it will die, no power, back firing at intake

I have the same symptoms with my 85 Camry. Did you get this resolved? I've been wondering if it was something clogged in or around the Throttle Body.

Did you get it fixed? Sounds like fuel starvation/lean mixture problem. Did you get trouble codes read? Could be your TPS.
