The odometer light on my Avalon dashboard has stopped working. I want to know if I should replace the failed bulb (or, unlikely, a dedicated fuse!), or should I simply get a small flashlight to carry in the car for times when I need to look at the indicated mileage? If replacement IS practical, how do I go about replacing that bulb? Do I risk reaching up under the dashboard to do it "blindly", or does the dashboard snap out in that portion of the dashboard? The Haynes manual I bought for the Avalon is useless for helping me with this task. Thanks.

You do not have to remove anything but the trim around the cluster and the screws that hold the cluster in..... take all of five min
