2002 Toyota Avalon/ check engine/vsc lights

2002 Toyota Avalon Automatic 75690 miles

my VSC light came on and check engine light and the VSC OFF light is on is this a major problem? Can I fix it or do I need to take it to a mechanic.
Will I make it worse ny driving it till I get it fixed

I am 44 yrs old but with instructions I can do things myself if It is minor. Money is always tight with 4 kids and being single I also need to know where I can get an owners manual

Hi there,

You will have to get any fault code extracted and read, this is the first thing to do, as it will inform you of any likely reasons for this fault, it will probably be a wheel sensor or a steering sensor, the VSC will normally be deactivated if a fault is detected so get the code and start there.
