Electrical problem 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 55000 miles

Both ON and OFF VSC lights stay on all the time. Took it to a dealer, he found error code C0208, cleared the codes, lights came back after 2 weeks. Another Toyota dealer found error code C1208/54 cause RM746U1 (steering sensor malfunction), 'calibrated steering customer to monitor', but the light came back shortly. Any idea how to resolve the issue? Thanks !

Hello,

The clue is the C0208 which is telling us the ABS - VSC module is going out they cleared it to get rid of you for a while and hope everything will be okay. Here is a the ABS and VSC wiring diagrams so we can see how the system works and the location of the module that needs to be replaced which is on the passengers side under the dash.

Please check the wiring to confirm the issue.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
