I jumped my car and it started and will restart right after turning off. I leave it off for thirty minutes and it's dead again. Probably the alternator, right? If so, any repair suggestions?

Hi there, you need to check the battery with a load test and this must be bone fully charged, and the alternator charge rate will need to be checked, if the alternator is faulty, you will need to have this looked at by an auto electrician as there is machining and internal component testing involved, if shown to be faulty, you can opt for a change over unit which you can install.
