heat does not work when idleing....
thermostat is working properly and when i accelerate is only when heat comes on inside car...
also a loud "humming " comes on when i turn the fan on high for heat to come up (blower motor clogged ?)...there is a slight crack in the radiator which i am going to replace.
do you think the heater core needs to be replaced or just the radiator for the heat to work properly....????
thnx

Hi there,

Repair radiator and replace thermostat. check the heater hose temps by hand, both should be hot to touch when heater is on and engine warm. if not check flow through heater core, and check all vents are receiving air flow.
