1995 Toyota Avalon clicking noise

when turning left or right i hear a clicking noise near the front of vehicle.when stopped in park and i turn the wheels the noise does not happen.when i put the car in drive and leave it in place and turn the wheels the clicking noise does happen.thanks

Check the CV Joints, at the wheel ends, you are looking for torn/split rubber boots. If found, replace the axle.
