my 95' 4runner has 158,000 mi i just replaced the timing belt i followed the manual. it ran fine for about 300 mi then it started falling on its face going up steep grades on the freeway. so i gave it a tune up plugs wire cap and rotor. did not move distributer and checked the timing the mark on the crank was at about 20 to 25 deg btdc. i thought it had skiped a tooth on the belt so i removed the cover and checked the gears for the mark placement. now the marks are at (crank 0 deg btdc. and both cam gears are at tdc) also when i put the distributer to 10 deg btdc it basicly does not run. help :?:
