Hi DianneH,

VSC = Vehicle Stability Control. The system automatically reduces engine power when it feels the vehicle is going out of control due to excessive speed differences between wheels. When the CEL comes on, it can trigger the VSC indicator.

When the CEL comes on, it means an error has been detected by the engine management system. Get a free scan done at Autozone and let me know the
EXACT trouble code to understand what is causing it and provide necessary suggestions.
