A/C trouble light blinks and no cold air comes out, but hot air continues to come out. Freon charge was checked and topped up and is not the problem. After adding freon A/C still did not produce cold air. Mechanic said compressor is ok, and believes there is an
electrical problem. Will take a look monday of tuesday. Front end of car was danaged 3 yrs ago, but damage was thought to be limited to front end cosmetics. Are there A/C components in the front of the radiator which could have been affected? If the problem is electric, what are the likely causes and the places to check? I look forward to some help and guidance. Thanks. Greybrownrat.

Hi there,

It is one thing adding refrigerant, but was the pressures checked, there are high and low pressure switches that can be causing the problem, but most problems can be identified with a pressure test, get this done first
