2000 Toyota 4Runner Rusted bolts on O2 sensor

Hi,

Bolts are very badly rusted to the point that the studs may be damaged. My guy doesn't know if he can heat it up and remove the old 02 sesonr.

I really don't want to spend 1400 bucks on a new pipe.

Hi amleeco,

Heat it up and spray some rust remover onto the areas surround the threads and pray that it works.

Even if the thread were damaged, it might not be necessary to replace the complete pipe. The threads can be repaired by a machinist, which should cost a lot lesser than $1400.
