disconnect negative battery cable and remove right front tire. remove rubber mud cover. remove transmission check tube holding bracket bolt and remove tube. remove 2 brake line holding bracket bolts but do not disconnet brake line. remove wires connector and 2 bolts holding starter. twist starter to move it out. installation is reverse of removal procedure.
