1998 Toyota 4Runner slips in drive

1998 TOYOTA 4RUNNER
118,000 MILES • 6 CYL • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

The transmission slips in drive but if you shift it maually starting in first gear it works fine.
I checked the fluid level and it was fine.
Don"t know where to go next.

Check your charging system if okay -test the TPS and VSS sensors
